Introduction to the stone tablets: In the open space between the temples of the Sun God and the Moon God in the square, there are 14 stone tablets. Built between 613 and 783, these stelae are carved from a single block of stone and are of varying heights. They are covered with symbolic carvings and thousands of hieroglyphics. Among the many statues of figures, only one looks like a woman, indicating the low status of women at that time.
