Introduction to Nanshan Stone Carvings: Nanshan, known as Guanghua Mountain in ancient times, is located five miles southeast of Dazu County. The original Tao on the top of the mountain is now named Jade Emperor Temple. Nanshan stone carvings originated in the Southern Song Dynasty and are Taoist statues. There are a total of fifteen niches in the cliff statues here. They are mainly Taoist works, with Sanqing Ancient Cave being its representative work.
