Huang Zhonghao (1859-1911), courtesy name Zesheng, was born in Qianyang, Hunan Province in the late Qing Dynasty. He became a general in the late Qing Dynasty because he assisted local authorities in establishing government-run industrial and mining enterprises and was deeply trusted.
