Introduction to the Immortal Tombs: The Immortal Tombs refer to the five stone tombs lined up on the south side of the cliff stone carvings of Laozi’s Tao Te Ching on Bible Mountain, also known as the “Five Ancestor Tombs”. According to legend, it was built by Taoist priests in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties to honor the Five Ancestors. A large stone tomb on the easternmost side has the words "Tomb of All Immortals" engraved on the sunny side of the stone wall, while the one on the westernmost side is engraved with Taoist famous sayings "birth and death" and "unconsciousness".
