Introduction to Sanqing Hall: Sanqing Hall is the first of the 12 individual buildings in Donghua Palace. The temple is dedicated to the Taoist "Three Pure Ones" deities, namely Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, and Taiqing Daode Tianzun, collectively known as the Three Pure Ones. They sit upright, holding fireballs, precious mirrors, and red tassels in their hands, seemingly explaining the evolution of the universe and human evolution to people in turn. The four walls of the hall are painted with brightly colored murals, each telling people a classic Taoist story. The original Sanqing Palace and Donghua Palace were destroyed by war and the "Cultural Revolution". The current Sanqing Hall is an antique building rebuilt on the original site in May 1993. Now there are Taoist priests living in seclusion in the temple all year round, and there is constant incense.
