Introduction to the former Soviet government site: The former Soviet government site in Gucheng County was invested and built in 1902 by American missionary Catherine. In September 1931, in order to develop and strengthen the revolutionary armed forces and solve the phenomenon of replacing political power with the Agricultural Association, the Gucheng County Party Committee and the 25th Red Division held a joint meeting and decided to establish the Gucheng County Soviet Government. In early October, the county Soviet government was formally established in the villa, with 28 township-level Soviet governments under its jurisdiction. This was the earliest red political power organization in Gucheng.
