Introduction to Xiong Jiazhong: According to the "Jianling Place Names", Xiong Jiazhong was named after the burial of the ancestors of the surname Xiong. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the king of Chu, the most powerful vassal state in southern China, was named Xiong. Therefore, some scholars speculate that Xiongjiazhong is the tomb of a certain Chu king. Judging from the patterns of the unearthed artifacts and the copper structures on the chariots and horses, it should be from the early Warring States period. According to the calculation based on the hereditary table of Chu kings, it should be the period of King Chu Zhao or King Hui of Chu. Archaeological workers found out that the main tomb of Xiongjia Tomb is 70 meters long and 67 meters wide, approximately square. The area of the coffin room in the tomb is 400 square meters. This is larger than the largest tomb excavated in Hubei Province - Bizeng Hou Yi's tomb is several times larger. It is obvious that when the King of Chu was in power, the country was extremely powerful.
