National Geopark Introduction: Hongshilin National Geopark is located in Guzhang County, 26 kilometers away from Mengdonghe Railway Station, with a core scenic area of about 20 square kilometers. The Cambrian geological section in the park is well developed, has stable lithofacies, and is rich in paleontological fossils. It is the best typical stratigraphic section of the Cambrian strata in my country. It is also the only red carbonate rock forest scenic spot formed in the Cambrian in the world. In 2005 It was approved as a national geological park in 2016.
