Introduction to the gatehouse: On the granite on both sides are respectively engraved the elegy words "Serve the Country with Loyalty" and "Heroes and Martyrs" written by Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai-shek in those years. The plaque with the name of "General Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall" inscribed by Comrade Wang Renzhong is hung on the top of the gate tower.
