Introduction to the Huanbei Shangcheng ruins: The Huanbei Shangcheng ruins are located in the northeastern part of the Yinxu Reserve. The city site is slightly square, 2.2 kilometers long from north to south, and 2.15 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of about 4.7 square kilometers. It is another large-scale Shang Dynasty ruins that has just been discovered recently. Its age should be earlier than the Yin Ruins in the traditional sense. It fills the time gap between the early Shang culture represented by Erligang in Zhengzhou and the late Shang culture represented by Yinxu in the traditional sense, and archaeologically completes the chronological framework of Shang culture.
