Scenic spot introduction:
Kronborg Slot in Denmark is the most representative castle palace of the Renaissance in Northern Europe. The castle is located at the tip of Zealand Island, Denmark. Shakespeare's famous play "Hamlet" was created with Kronborg Slot as the background.Attractions distribution:
Kronborg Slot was originally built on the site of an ancient castle called Kro (meaning "corner"), which was built in 1420 and played an important role in preventing pirates from wreaking havoc and protecting maritime transportation. Later, King Frederick II of Denmark (1559-1588) was attracted by the beautiful scenery around the castle and used the ship transit tax collected to rebuild it into a royal palace made of sandstone. The current Kronborg Palace has become a historical museum open to the public, which mainly houses a large number of tapestries, some famous paintings and porcelain. In order to commemorate the dramatic origins of Shakespeare and Kronborg Palace, people created a relief statue of Shakespeare on the wall of the outer courtyard of the castle as a memorial.
