Introduction to the Reclining Buddha Statue of Sakyamuni: The underground palace also enshrines the Reclining Buddha Statue of Sakyamuni. This Buddha statue was made during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and was presented to the Burmese royal family for worship. This Jade Buddha is carved from solid jade. The jade quality is crystal clear, the shape is solemn and elegant, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. The gorgeous cassock is studded with the finest gems and colored glazes from Yunnan. On the way back to the country, a rainbow appeared in the sky, and the welcoming staff were amazed. There are currently only three jade Buddhas of this kind left in the country.
