Introduction to Kbal Spean: Kbal Spean is located deep in the dense forest more than 40 kilometers northeast of Siem Reap (Angkor), Cambodia, and northeast of Lychee Mountain north of the Queen's Palace. It is a typical relic of fertility worship. Built between the 11th and 13th centuries in the dynasty of Rajendravarma II and Jayavarman V, it is also known as the "Linga" sculpture.
