How to get there:
Siem Reap has a small airport called Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (code: REP). There are direct flights from Angkor International Airport to Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, Hong Kong and other places. You can also take a flight to Phnom Penh, and then take a long-distance bus by land or a speedboat by water to Siem Reap.
The nearest Angkor monument, Angkor Wat, is about 6 kilometers away from Siem Reap, and Angkor itself is also very large, with various temples scattered among it, so transportation must be used. If you are confident in your physical strength, endurance and skills, you can choose to rent a bicycle or motorcycle for about US$5/24 hours. The locals call the two-wheeled motorcycle Moto, and the three-wheeled motorcycle (with a awning for shade and can seat four people) is called Toto (or Tata). Generally, the price of Moto is US$5-8/day, that of Toto is US$10-16/day, that of a car is US$20/day, and that of a minivan is US$25/day.

Route 1:
Day 1: In the morning, walk in a large circle to visit Bili Temple → Longpan Pool → Shengjian Temple (enter through the east gate and exit through the west gate) → Lewang Altar. The distance is 37 kilometers.
The next day: In the afternoon, walk in a small circle to visit Bayon → Ta Prohm → Royal Baths → Angkor Wat.
Route 2:
Day 1: Morning: Visit Bayon Temple → Leibang Altar → Royal Palace and Bafang Temple. Distance 20 km. Afternoon: Visit Thommanon → Zhou Sa Temple → Takeo Temple → Bakheng Mountain. Distance 26 kilometers
The next day: Morning: Take a large circle to visit Bili Temple → Longpan Pool → Shengjian Temple → Taxun → Dongmeiben (enter from the east gate and exit from the west gate). The distance is 37 kilometers. Day 2: Afternoon: Visit Ta Prohm Temple → Bandai Kati → Royal Bath. Distance 26 km.
Day 3: Morning: Queen’s Palace. The distance is 70 kilometers. Day 3: Afternoon: Take a closer look at Angkor Temple. Distance 12 km.
Best time to visit:
The dry season and the rainy season are from November to February of the following year and from June to October respectively, giving Angkor Wat two different looks.
