Introduction to the Sky Palace: The Sky Palace (Phimeanakas) is an all-stone structure building, said to have been built in the 11th century. The palace is built on a 12-meter-high platform, in the shape of a pyramid, with three floors. There is a tower built in the center of the platform, which is painted with gold and shines brightly. The high platform is surrounded by stone corridors. Due to the height of the platform, it gives people the feeling of hanging in the air, hence its name.
