Introduction to Yakushido: Covering an area of ​​about 30m2, it was built in 1649 by Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third-generation general of the Edo shogunate. It is one of the oldest buildings among the halls in Sensoji Temple. A statue of the main Buddha, Medicine Buddha, is placed here. In addition, the twelve divine generals who appeared in response to the 12 wishes made by Medicine Buddha to save all sentient beings, and the ten kings who punished the sins of the deceased are also placed here.
