Sensoji Temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo. It is located in Asakusa 2-chome, Taito District, Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 628. General Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Edo period designated this place as a prayer place for the shogunate and is the center of Heian culture.

How to get there:

Method 1: Take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Asakusa Station Exit 1, or the Toei Subway Asakusa Line to Asakusa Station Exit A4 and just walk.

Method 2: Take the water bus at Hinode Pier. The whole journey takes about 40 minutes.
