Travel Guide to Anping Fort in Tainan

Tainan Anping Fort is the oldest fort in Taiwan. It was built in 1624. Since its establishment, it has been the center of the Dutch rule in Taiwan and the residence of three generations of the Zheng Dynasty. The fort houses are made of pure red bricks and tiles. Every sunset, the afterglow and the exterior walls are reflected, and the scenery is very pleasant. One of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan, "Anping Sunset", is here. Although the fort has been repaired today, it still retains its grandeur.
