Introduction to the Anping Castle Heritage Memorial Hall: During the Japanese occupation, the Japanese razed the city walls and built a Japanese-style customs dormitory on the original site. The Dutch castle building was thus destroyed. In 1975, after renovation, the original customs dormitory was turned into a memorial hall, which mainly displays the history and style of Anping from the Dutch occupation period to the present.
