Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area is synonymous with Taiwan's scenery. It is one of the eight famous scenic spots in Taiwan and is known as "a paradise overseas". "Double Lake Autumn Moon" is one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in Taiwan, my country. It is known as Taiwan's "Heavenly Lake" and is also the residence of the Thao people, the aboriginal people of Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake has become the crown of all scenic spots in Taiwan with its wonders of "a bright lake suddenly appearing among thousands of mountains". It is famous all over the world and has formed a beautiful landscape of "green mountains embracing clear waters and a bright lake embracing green pearls".Sun Moon Lake, located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, covers an area of 8.39 square kilometers, with a maximum water depth of 27 meters and a lake surface elevation of 748 meters. It is one of the freshwater lakes with the most alien species. The beauty of Sun Moon Lake lies in the mountains surrounding the lake, the vast lake surface, and the clear water. The scenery at dawn and dusk is different in each season. 1. Formosan Aboriginal Cherry Blossom Festival: Every February, it is one of the most popular cultural events in Taiwan, and you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.

The boat ticket for the lake cruise is NT$300, and children between 115 and 140 cm in height can get a half-price ticket.
