Introduction to Ci'en Pagoda: Ci'en Pagoda was built by Chiang Kai-shek in 1971 in memory of his mother, Mrs. Wang Tai. It is an octagonal pagoda modeled after the ancient pagodas of Liao and Song Dynasties. The tower is built on the top of Qinglong Mountain at an altitude of 955 meters. The tower is 9 stories high and about 45 meters high. The top of the tower is exactly 1000 meters above sea level.
