Vineyard introduction: The Wachau region is Austria's main wine-producing region. It mainly grows Grüner Veltliner and Riesling for winemaking. Some of the 1,350 hectares of vineyards are steep terraces. The best vineyards here produce many world-renowned high-quality white wines with aging potential.
