Introduction to the Yue Lian Ling Shu Monument: Behind the Haoling Hall is the dormitory hall, and behind the dormitory hall is the imperial study room, which houses the recumbent stele "Yue Lian Ling Shu" written by Emperor Qianlong. The Yuelian Lingshu Monument was erected in the 42nd year of Qianlong's reign (AD 1777) when there was a severe drought in Shaanxi. Bi Yuan, the governor of Shaanxi, was ordered to worship the gods and pray for rain. There are five dragons embossed on the forehead of the stele. The dragons surround a small rectangular bluestone plaque with the word "Yu Bi" written on it. The base of the stele is composed of upper, middle and lower parts, with drum-holding stones on both sides. The stele has four large characters "Yuelian Lingshu" written by Emperor Qianlong, and the characters are about 30 centimeters long. The shadow of the stele is Bi Yuan's record of the answer to this prayer for rain.
