Scenic spot introduction:

Xiyue Temple is known as the "Forbidden City of Shaanxi" and is a temple dedicated to Huashan God, the Great Emperor of Xiyue. Xiyue Temple is located on Yuezhen Street, 5 kilometers north of Huashan. It was first built in the Han Dynasty and was an important place for emperors of all dynasties to worship the God of Huashan. The architectural complex of Xiyue Temple is grand in scale, with "a hundred-foot-high floor hidden by deep trees, and a flying deer trying to reach the sky". It is antique and very precious.

Attractions distribution:

Xiyue Temple faces south, with the temple gate facing Mount Huashan. On the central axis from north to south, there are Haoling Gate, Wufeng Tower, Lingxing Gate, Jincheng Gate, Haoling Hall, Bedroom, Imperial Study Room, and Wanshou Pavilion. The whole building is low in front and high in back. The main attractions include the flagpole stone, the glazed screen wall, the imperial Huashan inscription stele, the Yuezhen River Du stele, the Shaohao capital stone archway, the Yuelian Lingshu stele, etc.

How to get there:

1. There is a free shuttle bus from Huashan Visitor Center to Xiyue Temple;

2. The first stop on Tour 1 returning from Dongshanmen is Xiyue Temple;

3. From Hua County and other neighboring counties The incoming shuttle bus will stop at the parking lot at the west end of Yuemiao Street after passing through Huashan and Xincheng.

Xiyue Temple ticket price:

The combined ticket for Xiyue Temple and Huashan is 120 yuan, and tickets for the scenic spots can be purchased separately. Tickets are 30 yuan in peak season and 15 yuan in low season.
