Introduction to Haoling Hall: Haoling Hall is the main hall of Xiyue Temple. It is a majestic building with sixty-eight columns, nine beams, and ten purlins, with glazed eaves and a top. It is seven rooms wide and five rooms deep. It is surrounded by cloisters, with towering eaves and densely covered brackets. The entire building sits on a platform made of stone strips in the shape of a ziggurat. There are five steps in front of the platform, the middle is the widest. There is a bluestone painting of "Two Dragons Playing with Pearls" on the road, commonly known as the Royal Road. There are sacrificial plaques and incense tables for the God of Huashan in the hall. Hanging on the hall are the plaques "Rui Ning Xian Zhang" written by Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, "Jin Tian Zhao Rui" written by Emperor Guangxu and "Xian Zhang Lingyun" written by Emperor Guangxu.
