Jilin Provincial Natural History Museum is the only provincial natural museum in Jilin Province, covering zoology, botany, geology and paleontology, natural environment and natural resources and other sciences. The museum collects more than 30,000 natural exhibits and more than 51,000 pieces, including animals, plants, paleontological fossils, human bodies, minerals, rocks, meteorites, etc.

The Jilin Provincial Natural History Museum has an exhibition hall, a multi-functional lecture hall, a production area, etc. The exhibitions are divided into "Rhyme of the Forest", "Soul of the Mountain", "Butterfly Valley", "Spirit of Birds", "Interest of Beasts" and "Fossil World" is displayed in six exhibition areas, among which "Rhyme of the Forest" and "Soul of the Mountain" are the main exhibition areas.
