Scenic spot introduction:
Shennongjia Shennongding Tourist Area is located in the southwest of Shennongjia Nature Reserve. It is known as a "green treasure house", "plant gene bank", "natural zoo", "herb garden" and "sanctuary for endangered animals and plants". The natural forest ecosystem is well preserved and has diverse biological species. As a natural barrier in central China, it is an excellent natural ecological tourist area.The "Xingshan County Chronicle" of the Qing Dynasty called this place "Shen Nong Mountain". It was named because it is said that the Shennong family once tasted herbs here. The scenic area is famous for its primitive characteristics. Alpine meadows stretch for thousands of miles, arrow bamboo forests block out the sky, mountain stone forests are abrupt and gloomy, firs pierce the sky, rhododendrons dazzle the eyes, and many rare birds and beasts appear in it. It is a maze of natural terrain. The strange and bizarre things cast a thick veil of mystery on this side of the sky.

Three-day tour of Shennongding Nine Lakes:
Day 1: Yanziya, Tianmenya, Hongping Gallery, Xiangxiyuan. Live in Muyu Town;
The second day: Return to Yakou from Muyu Town and start visiting the Shennongding Scenic Area. You can go deep into the Dajiu Lake alpine wetland, and then stay there for a day;
The third day: From Dajiu Lake returns to Yakou via Shennongding, passes Muyu and heads south to visit the Shennong Altar and other scattered attractions. Leave Shennong Forestry Area to the south.

How to get there:
From Wuhan, Yichang, and Shiyan, you can take a long-distance bus to Xingshan County, and then take a minibus from Xingshan County to Shennongjia Muyu Town;
From Chongqing, you can take a boat to disembark at Badong Port. Badong is 5:00 a day. There is a shuttle bus to Shennongjia at 30. You can also disembark at Xiangxi Wharf (only small passenger ships stop), take a bus to Xingshan and then take a bus to Shennongjia Muyu Town;
The transportation in the Shennongjia Forest Area is mainly chartered, and there are buses in Muyu Town and Songbai Town. There are many tourist buses available for rent, which can seat about 5 people, and the charges range from 150 to 200 yuan. The price is higher during the tourist season. If you enter on foot, you can also intercept passing cars on the highway.
