Introduction to the Haw Par Pagoda: The Haw Par Pagoda, also known as the White Pagoda, was built by the Hu family of Zhongchuan to commemorate the glorious life of Hu Wenhu, and by Dr. Hu Xian in memory of his father. It was built with donations from Dr. Hu Xian. The design of the Haw Par Tower is based on the Tiger Pagoda of the "Haw Par Villa" in Hong Kong. The tower is seven stories high. The tower shape is built in the Bagua style according to the principles of the Bagua in the "Book of Changes" and has a glazed gourd top. This white pagoda just stands on the tiger-shaped mountainside of the ancient village of Zhongchuan. It is white and elegant, majestic and beautiful in shape. The white pagoda complements the buildings of the ancient village of Zhongchuan, symbolizing the people of Zhongchuan missing their wanderers from far away, and Hu Wenhu not forgetting his elders in his hometown.
