Introduction to Gubelin: The tree species of Gubelin are Platycladus arborvitae or juniper. Most of them were planted when the Imperial Ancestral Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty, and a few were replanted in the Qing Dynasty. The oldest tree is over five hundred years old, and the youngest one is over three hundred years old. Nearly 800 ancient cypresses surround the central building complex of the Imperial Ancestral Temple, and complement each other with the yellow tiles and red walls, forming a solemn and quiet environment. When the original palace was closed, groups of gray cranes roosted in the forest, and when winter turned to spring, it became a wild scene in the city.
