Introduction to Xiangdian: Xiangdian, also known as the front hall, was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties held ancestor worship ceremonies. It is the main body of the entire Ancestral Temple. Yellow glazed tiles are placed on the top of the hall with double eaves, and a plaque with the name "Ancestral Temple" in Manchu and Chinese characters and nine dragons is hung under the eaves. There are eleven rooms (68.2 meters long) and six rooms deep (30.2 meters wide). It is located on a three-story (346 meters high) white marble Xumizuo with a height of 32.46 meters. The beams in the palace are decorated with gold, the floor is set with gold bricks, and the 68 large pillars and main beams and bridges are made of golden nanmu. It is the largest existing golden nanmu palace in China.
