The Huang Yongyu Art Museum of Jishou University was built to express gratitude to Mr. Huang Yongyu, the Chinese art master, for his great love for his hometown and his hometown university, to publicize and publicize the outstanding cultural achievements and intelligent creations of mankind, and to do a useful job for human civilization and social progress. Huang Yongyu Art Museum is located at No. 120 Renmin South Road, Shazi'ao, on the new campus of Jishou University. The museum is divided into preface hall, art life, calligraphy and painting world, collection world, etc., and has a collection of more than 60 works of calligraphy, painting, sculpture, photography, etc. During the visit, the audience can not only cultivate their sentiments, but also feel the personal charm of Mr. Huang Yongyu.

School opening hours:

May 1st to September 30th: 08:30-12:00 in the morning (ticket sales stop at 11:30), 15:00-18:00 in the afternoon (ticket sales stop at 17:30).

October 1st to April 30th: 08:30-12:00 in the morning (ticket sales stop at 11:30), 14:30-17:30 in the afternoon (ticket sales stop at 17:00).

Closed every Monday; closed on the 30th day of the twelfth lunar month and the first day of the first lunar month.

Open normally on holidays.
