Introduction to the Collection World: The Collection World exhibition hall displays nearly 200 cultural relics, including a group of pottery sculptures from the Zhongshan Kingdom, a stone coffin from the Tang Dynasty, Weng Zhong from the Song Dynasty and other precious cultural relics. The cultural relics on display range from Longshan and Yangshao to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, mainly pottery from the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty, from which we can get a glimpse of Huang Yongyu’s rich intellectual accomplishments in traditional Chinese culture and his aesthetic orientation. Huang Yongyu is particularly fond of the various exquisite handicrafts of the Han Dynasty, which highlight the beauty of innocent and wild romanticism and ancient style in their shapes, patterns, techniques and artistic conceptions.
