There is a front door cover in the front and a back door cover in the back. It may be hardwood with openwork carvings of lotus and peony, or decorated with window lattice flowers. There is a round or polygonal shape above the door forehead. The door hairpin is carved with auspicious words. There is a door pillow stone under the threshold and a stone pier outside, carved with auspicious words, flowers and auspicious animals. The door is equipped with copper or iron door cymbals, door knockers, and ruthenium. There are windward covers under the four corners of the gatehouse, and there are eaves above it.
