Scenic spot introduction:
Mentougou Cuandixia Village is the first to discover a relatively complete ancient building complex in a mountain village in my country. The ancient village has a history of more than 400 years, and now contains more than 500 70 courtyard houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which contain profound northern architectural cultural connotations. It is a pearl among the treasures of Chinese classical architecture.Attractions distribution:
The full surname of the people in Cuandixia Village is Han. It is said that they immigrated from under the big locust tree in Hongdong County, Shanxi Province in the Ming Dynasty. The original village was located at the old grave in the northwest of the village. Later, the entire village was destroyed by flash floods. Only a young man and woman escaped death when they went out. In order to continue the descendants of the Korean people, the two used millstones as matchmakers to get married and established a village at the current site. After their marriage, they gave birth to three sons: Han Fujin, Han Fuyin, and Han Fucang. Sanzi is divided into three gates, namely: East Gate, Middle Gate, and West Gate. At the beginning, the 20 generations were arranged in order with the character "福" as the first generation: 福景自素玉, Youming Wanhongsi, Yijuxiao Huaimeng, Yongmao Guanglianwen, and now it has developed to 17 generations. Mao, the character generation.Cuandixia Village currently has a population of 29 households with 93 people, a land of 280 acres, 74 courtyards, and 689 houses. The houses in the village are built according to the mountain, according to the situation, and are scattered in height. With the dragon head at the back of the village as the center and the north-south axis as the axis, they are spread out in a fan shape on both sides. Most of these buildings were built in the late Qing Dynasty (a few were built in the Republic of China). The Siheyuan and Sanheyuan are characterized by reasonable layout, rigorous structure, strict gate tower levels, exquisite door pier carvings, original brick carving screen walls, and murals and couplets everywhere. The upper part of the village and the lower part of the village are separated by a large arc-shaped wall 200 meters long and 20 meters high at the highest point. The front of the village is surrounded by a 170-meter long arc-shaped wall, which makes the whole village not scattered but the spirit is more concentrated. Three passages are used to go up and down. , and has the functions of preventing floods and banditry.
