Introduction to the Arboretum: The Arboretum was founded in 1959 and occupies an important position in the garden. The arboretum is an important germplasm resource gene bank of the botanical garden. Its main mission is to collect and protect tropical wild plant resources and rare and endangered plants, and introduce important domestic and foreign economic plants to serve production practices and improve the environment. At present, more than 900 species have been introduced and cultivated.
