Introduction to the Kukai Bronze Statue: There is a bronze statue of Kukai at the entrance of the Yakushiden Hall. I saw the master dressed in cloth, holding a Zen staff in his left hand, a rosary in his left hand, wearing straw sandals on his feet, carrying a straw hat on his back, looking straight, as if he had traveled a long distance and was dusty. The bronze statue is 3.5 meters high, with a height of 2.8 meters and a weight of 1.3 tons. It was cast by the Nanjing Chenguang Machinery Factory affiliated to the Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics of China with funding from followers of the Japanese Shingon Sect.
