Introduction to the ancient town: Min'an means "an town in Fujian". In 893 AD, the Tang Dynasty had already set up an inspection department office in Min'an. In the Song Dynasty, it ranked first among the four famous towns in Fujian. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it continued to be a military and maritime trade center. For thousands of years, Min'an has been a battleground and an ancient battlefield for military strategists, so it has preserved a large number of cultural relics from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
