Fuzhou Min'an Ancient Town is one of the four ancient towns in the Song Dynasty and an important part of Fuzhou's historical and cultural city. As the first gateway of Fujian Province, Min'an was once an important military and customs port town in history. It was built by the imperial court and its scale of construction and its architectural pattern are extraordinary. In order to recreate the grand event of the year, the ancient town was mainly used for residential and tourist functions, reflecting the cultural characteristics of Fujian and Taiwan, and was built into a historical area with local cultural characteristics of Fuzhou. It was used as an extension of the construction of shipping culture and the focus of cultural exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan. The scenic spot attracts people from all over the world to explore ancient times.

Min'an is located in the southeast coastal area of Fuzhou, about 30 kilometers away from Fuzhou city center. The ancient town is centered on Min'an Village, with a total area of 6.48 hectares. It is mainly divided into two protection zones: the riverside open space on the west side of the Minjiang River and the water village scenic spots on both sides of the Xinggang River. The important protected landscapes mainly include the Min'an Inspection Department Yamen, Min'an Anshui Division Left and Right Camps, Hutoushan Garrison Qing Army Cemetery, Jiulong Bridge, Tianhou Palace, Zheng Yebi, Zhuzi Temple, Min'an Fort, Min'an Ancient Ferry, Min'an Ancient City Wall and Qing Army Banner Camp Barracks, etc. .

How to get there:

Bus route: Take No. 36, No. 40, or No. 116 from downtown Fuzhou or Mawei District to go directly to Min'an.

Self-driving route: Take the Third Ring Expressway in Fuzhou City → Jiangbin East Avenue/Airport Expressway into Mawei District, and then drive along National Highway 104.

Take a ferry from the ferry in the ancient town to Changle Kengkou Ferry on the other side (near the Jingang Leg Scenic Area), then transfer to Changle Bus No. 4 or the minibus between Changle City and Langqi, and you can go to Changle City along the way. You can visit attractions such as Diamond Legs, Zhenghe Park, Qinjiang Manchu Village, etc.
