Introduction to Dacheng Hall: Dacheng Hall is the main hall of the Confucius Temple. It has double eaves and nine ridges and sits high on the platform. It is the most majestic palace in Fuzhou City. Dacheng Hall is seven rooms wide and four rooms deep. It has double eaves on the top of the mountain. It has a bucket-shaped wooden structure paved with stone pillars, with 22 stone eaves pillars and 8 inner stone pillars. The stone pillars are huge, based on 2.8 tons per cubic meter of granite. Each inner stone pillar weighs about 9 tons, and each stone eaves pillar weighs 8 tons.
