Fuzhou Confucian Temple, also known as the "Temple of the Masters" and the "Hall of Saints", was originally a school for training students and also dedicated to Confucius. It is located in the northwest of the city. In the seventh year of Dali of Tang Dynasty (772), Fujian Observer Li Yi moved to the present site. Located on Shengmiao Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, the existing temple was built from December of the first year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1851) to June of the fourth year of Qing Dynasty (1854). Facing south, it covers an area of ​​7,552 square meters and has a construction area of ​​4,000 square meters. The Confucian bluestone sculptures in the hall pay attention to texture and proportion in expression techniques, with both form and spirit. The sculptures are exquisite and concise, showing the realm of Confucian real life atmosphere.
