Mada Lake is located in the north of Huagou Village, Qifeng Town, Huantai County, with a total area of nearly 100 square kilometers. 1. The 18th day of the third lunar month is the traditional Wuxian Temple Temple Fair, during which villagers spontaneously organize Yangko, drum and other performances, which are full of folk customs.
2. July and August every year, the lotus leaves are in full bloom and the pond is full of lotus flowers, which is the best time to watch lotus. The Mata Lake Tourism Festival will also be held at this time, with activities such as the Lotus Lantern Festival.
3. Every Dragon Boat Festival, the boat union organizes a punting competition on its own initiative.

How to get there:
Zibo: You can take trains to Zibo Station from all over the country. Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan and other places can take long-distance buses to Zibo Long-distance Bus Station, which is across the street from the train station.
Mata Lake:
1. Tourist line: There is a direct bus from Zibo Railway Station to Mata Lake Wuxian Temple Scenic Area; or you can take the bus to Yulong from Zibo Station to Mata Lake. To the lake, there is a bus every 10 minutes, and the fare is about 5 yuan per person.
2. Self-driving route: Jiqing Expressway → Exit at Zibo Exit → Drive north → See the sign for Huantai County and turn left to the west → At the fourth intersection, turn north to Shaohai Road → Along Shaohai Road Drive until the end of the road → then turn left and drive west for about 1 km → you can see the sign for Mada Lake. Follow the sign to reach the scenic spot. After getting off the highway, drive about 35 kilometers and take about 50 minutes.
