The Yuhua Palace Scenic Area is the only tourist attraction in western China that integrates a royal summer palace, a place where eminent monks became Buddhas, vacations and ice and snow tourism. It is located in Yuhua Town (formerly Jiaoping Coal Mine) in the northwest suburb of Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province. It integrates natural and cultural landscapes and has three major functions: tourism, summer vacation, and Buddhist activities. It is one of the tourist attractions in northern Shaanxi. How to get there:
From Tongchuan Beiguan Bus Station, take the tourist bus bound for Yuhua Palace to Yuhua Palace. The ticket is 8.5 yuan and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
