Introduction to the Silkworm Culture Center: Every year during the Qingming Festival, silkworm farmers hold the Silkworm Flower Temple Fair to pray to the God of Silkworms to clear away illnesses and eliminate disasters for silkworms and grant them a good harvest. Every year on this day, silkworm farmers from neighboring counties and towns in Xinshi City flock to the ancient temple Juehai Temple, Siqian Street, Siqian Lane, Yanzhi Lane, and North Street. Buddhist believers go to Lingqian Mountain to worship Buddha and pray for a "good harvest." Rural women carry Silkworms are seeded and all kinds of silkworm flowers are placed on their heads, which attracts people to come and watch. There are huge crowds of people rolling over each other, so it is called "rolling silkworm flowers". After the temple fair, people start spring plowing to raise silkworms.
