Introduction to the Main Hall: The Main Hall is the main building of Xuanzhong Temple, with a width of five rooms and a single eaves resting on a mountain. In the center is a standing wooden statue of Amitabha, which is solemn, dignified, kind and solemn. Amitabha Buddha is the main object of belief in the Pure Land Sect and is considered the leader of the Western Paradise. He can lead people who chant the Buddha to the "Western Pure Land", so it is also called the "Guide Buddha". Therefore, the Main Hall of Xuanzhong Temple does not enshrine Sakyamuni Buddha like the Main Halls of other temples, but only the statue of Amitabha. There are sixteen portraits of Arhats hanging around the main hall, with different postures and extraordinary forms.
