Introduction to Tianlong Mountain: The Tianlong Mountain Grottoes are located in the mountains 36 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan City. They were first excavated more than 1,400 years ago during the Northern Dynasty and Eastern Wei Dynasty. Excavated through the Northern Qi, Sui and Tang dynasties, there are 25 grottoes coexisting, located between the east and west peaks and cliffs, stretching for more than 1 kilometer. It is known as the "treasure house of oriental sculpture art" and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Ranked sixth among the Great Grottoes.
