Introduction to the City God’s Temple: The City God’s Temple located in the ancient city is a key cultural relic protection unit of the State Council and one of the most well-preserved City God’s temples in my country. The temple was built in 1362 AD and covers an area of 6,000 square meters. It is huge and magnificent. Since its completion, the Chenghuang Temple has undergone many renovations and was used as an exhibition hall and library after the founding of the People's Republic of China. During the Cultural Revolution, the library books were looted, and the City God Temple was occupied by a rubber shoe factory. It was not until the factory moved out in 1984 that the state was able to renovate and maintain the City God Temple.
