How to get there:
Airline route: Tourists can take a flight to Taiyuan Wusu Airport, then transfer to a taxi to reach Yuci Ancient City in 15 minutes.
Bus route: Take bus No. 901 from Taiyuan Railway Station to the terminal to reach your destination.
Self-driving route:
(Departing from Taiyuan) Go straight along the Yutai Highway to the center of Yuci District;
(Departing from Datong, Shuozhou, Wutai Mountain) Expressway - Taiyuan Dongshan Transit Expressway - Exit at Jinzhong Exit of Wusu Overpass, follow Yutai Highway to the center of Yuci District;
(from Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Yangquan) follow Taijiu (Shitai) Expressway to Jinzhong Exit at the Zhong (Yutou) exit, follow Yuci East Outer Ring Road to Jinlun South Road to Yujia Street, or exit at the Jinzhong (Wuxu) exit, and then follow Yutai Highway to the center of Yuci District.
(Departing from Xi'an, Yuncheng, and Linfen) Take the Dayun Expressway and exit at the Jinzhong exit of the Taiyuan South Inner Ring Expressway, and follow the Yutai Highway to the center of Yuci District.

Discount ticket: 30 yuan/person.

Best time to visit:
Yuci Old Town has four distinct seasons, with long winter and short summer, and rain and heat in the same season. It is mild and pleasant. The best time to travel is spring, summer and autumn.
