Introduction to Fengming Academy: Fengming Academy was a county school in Yuci during the Qing Dynasty and was the highest institution of learning in Yuci. The academy is located on the north side of Old City West Street, covering an area of 27,000 square meters. In the 13th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty, Qian Zhiqing, the county magistrate, established a free school here. In the 31st year of Qianlong's reign, it was called "Fengming Academy". The academy is laid out in a garden style, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and has sparse buildings. It is an ideal place for reading and learning.
