Introduction to the Ximen Wengcheng Heritage Park: The West Gate of Yuci was built during the Kaihuang years of the Sui and Tang Dynasties and consists of the city gate tower and the Wengcheng. The city gate was once a traffic artery and important barrier in the ancient city of Yuci. During the large-scale wall demolition in the 1950s, it was preserved due to its remote location. The current city wall was restored on the remaining wall of the West Gate. Behind the city wall is the Ximen Wengcheng Heritage Park, which consists of the urn city, the moat and the enemy tower.
