Introduction to the Giant Buddha: The exposed chest and neck part of the Jinyang Xishan Giant Buddha is 17.5 meters high, 25 meters wide, and the diameter of the neck is 5 meters wide. It was recorded in the Tang Dynasty that it was "two hundred feet high". According to Tang Dynasty, It is approximately 63 meters in feet, which is only 8 meters lower than the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan, my country (71 meters high), and 10 meters higher than the Bamiyan Giant Buddha in Afghanistan (53 meters high), which was previously considered the "world's largest Buddha" in the West. The Western research on the "Ba" Buddha is unclear, and it is believed that the "Ba" Buddha was carved between the "third and seventh centuries". This is an inaccurate estimate. However, the Jinyang Xishan Giant Buddha is clearly recorded in historical records as being carved in the Northern Qi Dynasty. In the second year of Tianbao (551), it was in the sixth century.
